Thuy's 48th - omg - birthday fundraiser

I have always wanted to donate blood, thinking it's such a cool thing that the flowing liquid I was born with can help others. Well - having very small and moving veins plus mild thalassemia makes that not possible. So what other options are there? This year, I would like to ask my families and friends to donate to my favourite charity in lieu of birthday present/flower/champagne/diamond :).

What Blue Dragon Children's Foundation does for Vietnamese street kids, especially in the human trafficking prevention & rescue space and assistance for undocumented citizens to receive legal recognition really resonate with me.
